About Me

Hey, I’m Gabe. I’m a Brisbane based photographer and film maker.

I live in Brisbane with my wife and two daughters I’ve got a soft spot for coffee (black, white, good, bad), riding my bike, exploring new places, and trying out new foods. I grew up in the rainforest behind a small town called Mullumbimby, surrounded by artists. My dad always had his sketchbook with him, pointing out light and composition — though it didn’t fully click for me until I got my hands on an old SLR and discovered the magic of the darkroom in high school.

After high school, I moved to Brisbane (can you even call it the big smoke?) and chased every photography-related opportunity I could find. Fast forward 15 years, and I’ve had the chance to work in some of Brisbane’s top studios, learning from some incredible photographers along the way. My approach to photography is all about capturing moments that are natural, fun, and honest. I love wide, open landscapes but also thrive on getting close to the action to capture the real, raw moments.
